Contracts are for clarity

If you value the relationship you have with a person or the relationship you're trying to build then you both should want a contract.  Before you commence with work, you should at least write an email or text outlining what you think is expected of you and what the other party will do in return.  Contracts don't have to be complicated and use big words, they just need to be clear for all partied involved.

You see many times people could be using the same words, but interpreting different things.  So take a little time up front and be clear with one another and write out what is expected, read it, make a copy for each party that has an obligation or expectation and everyone sign and date it and make sure you get your copy.

Contracts have nothing to do with trust.  If you can't trust a person/company then what makes you think they will honor a piece of paper?  Contracts are only as good as the parties signing them.  Yes, you can sue for breach of contract, BUT getting your judgment after winning is an entirely different matter.

You can win a lawsuit, but getting your money starts another process if that party doesn't pay.

Remember CONTRACTS ARE FOR CLARITY!

Always the same

Throughout human history, regardless of: financial state; religion; age; ethnicity; nationality; or gender, people have always done the same thing and the only things that change is the technology that we use to do it.

Why is life so hard?

Life is hard because everyday is the first time for everybody.

You've probably heard the saying "The first step is always the hardest."
You probably know that the first time you do something takes the most time to do it and it may seem a little harder than you thought.
Even the first time you take a route somewhere it seems to take the longest time.

The first time is the hardest because we aren't used to it.  The more familiar and comfortable you get with something, the easier it seems.  The longer you do something, it appears to be easy i.e., you make it look easy.

Well, every day is a new day. You may do things during the day that you have done before so that part of your day is not big deal but, every minute is new to you and since we have no idea of what comes next, we just have to take it as it comes...for the first time!

Some days are easy because most things that happen that day are things we are used to and we're comfortable doing them, even if we don't like them.  Some days go really well because our plans work out and even though it's the first time, things go well.  Then, of course, are those days that most everything is new and unexpected, on top of it all it comes at us way too fast.

We have to live on the same planet with lots of other people that we can't control, so there's just no tellin' what each day will bring.  If we remember that we are ALL doing this life thing for the first time and give each other a little leeway, maybe our lives will be a little easier.

So, we know that life is hard simply because it's the first time for everybody.  It gets even harder when we make dumbass choices!

Opinions

If opinions are like assholes, in that everyone has one...
then shouldn't expressing opinions be treated like farts and withheld while in public?

Of course, when you're with friends, feel free to express both to your heart's content!  Or at least until your friends can't stand the smell of ya!

Hey Friend!

Our most precious...

Time is our most precious commodity.  So why do so many of us waste it on stupid shit?!

No matter what situation to which we're born, we all have a finite amount of time, to top it off, we have no idea how much time we get to live.  No one can go back in time (at the time of this post).

Time passes the same for ALL OF US!  No amount of money can save us from the passage of time.

Imagine if all of us were born with $10 million and we die when it's gone.  I know, it's not enough for a lifetime, but that's the point.  I think we would spend our money (our time) more wisely.  Everytime we wanted to dwell on our past, we had to pay.  I think that we would be able to let go of our past a little quicker.  Everytime we wanted to fight and argue, we had to pay.  I think there would be fewer fights.  I think we would find better ways to get what we needed and what we got would be of better quality.  I think that we would be less inclined to spend our money/time on ungreatful people.

Sometimes we get stuck in/on our past.  Stuck on the past by constantly giving it more time by dwelling on things that people did to us that can't be changed because there's no time travel.  Stuck in the past by continually telling yourself  "If only this went a different way than it did (way back when)."  See, these things take time to do which means that you have less time to enjoy what there is today.  If we had to pay for these activities with the finite amount of money we were born with then I think we think twice about doing it or at least not as often.

Don't let hate and anger use up your time or money.

I'm coming back to this...
When I am finally done, I will open comments.
