ABOUT

What is this blog about?!

This is a blog of the many things that I think about from time to time.  Some times more often than I would like.  Things that I have come to realize as I have walked through life. These are not meant to be good or bad, but just things that I notice, wonder about or would like to share.  If you don't like the things that I write about then I implore you to NOT waste your time commenting on them and just don't read the blog.  If you have something of substance to add then, by all means, comment away!

Who am I?

I am just a person in this world.  I am an American.  I have grown children.  I have a bachelor's degree.  I have IT training and many years of experience.  I have been a supervisor/manager of people and things.  I am educated in an American public school system.  I've played sports at many levels (though not professionally).  I consider myself to be statically an average person, but like you, I differ in many ways.

Why would I do such a thing?

I am writing this blog as a way of release.  I have come to figure out many things for myself the hard way.  Meaning, through experience.  I want to share these things with other people because I have come to learn that sometimes we, as humans, need to hear the words said so that we can see another point of view, to see one of the many facets of a situation or person and maybe just have a different train of thought so we can make through.

I am writing this blog to mostly to make room in my personal basket.  You see, I have come to realize that we are all "basket cases" in some way.  I know, you're thinking "I AM NO BASKET CASE!!!"
What I am talking about is the personal basket or baggage that we carry.  Yes, WE ALL have some baggage.  We can't help it, it's just the way humans are made.  Our experience in life contributes to that baggage.  Some of us hold real tight and keep that baggage close which means that it can possibly get in our way of enjoying life.  Some of us are able to shelve that baggage and let go, eventually.
